The Sentinel Rock Offshore Race is widely regarded as the truest race of the Waikawa Boating Club calendar with a beat and run where the fleet can expect to be using their full sail wardrobe.
Sentinel Rock is located beyond Queen Charlotte Sound, out into Cook Strait and to the outer reaches of Pelorus Sound. Wind dependent, but racers can expect 6-8 hours of racing.
The significance of this race deserves a substantial prize pool.

All boats entering in the Versatile Offshore Series must have a minimum of a current Category 3 Safety Certificate.
