12-13 September 2026
Registrations for the two divisions are open so join the many women who are coming to learn new skills or be part of the hard out racing. Either way be part of the exciting atmosphere this regatta is well known for. Come as an individual or gather your crew, spread the word, and get ready for a memorable Waikawa weekend!
- Plenty of racing
- Taste of Marlborough
- Olympic Gold Medallist Jenny Armstrong – guest speaker
Division 1 – Racing Division
The racing division is aimed at experienced sailors or crews looking to enter for the full-on racing experience. The racing format will be a mixture of sprint races, round the cans and harbour races.
Division 2 – Skills Growing Division
The skills growing division is aimed at less experienced sailors who want to learn or improve their yachting and racing skills. You will be encouraged to rotate crew positions, operating with an experienced skipper (who may be the boat owner) on hand to share their experience. This division also welcomes anyone that loves to teach sailing to less experienced women.
There is truly something for everyone, no matter your experience level
Join us for Taste of Marlborough, our Friday afternoon on-water social event! If you would like to be part of it, please remember to book when registering for the regatta. Spaces are limited.
Your Saturday night dinner, guest speaker, is Olympic Gold Medallist Jenny Armstrong. Jenny has returned from the 2025 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. Jenny will also be actively involved in Division 2 throughout the weekend, sharing her passion, knowledge, and sailing skills. Saturday night is limited to 100 people, so book now.
All competitors will have the chance to sharpen their rules knowledge at a Sunday breakfast tuition session with an experienced National Judge.
No Boat – No worries
Waikawa Boating Club has yachts that can be allocated to sailors and or crews travelling to the event.
